Washington, D.C. — The Samuel Group D.C. today announced the appointment of Bryan Robinson, a highly regarded business lawyer and legal educator, as External Legal Counsel, supporting the Group’s operations and client engagements across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
In this role, Mr. Robinson will advise the Samuel Group D.C. and its affiliated companies on complex cross-border legal and regulatory matters, corporate governance, corporate finance, lobbying, compliance and regulatory frameworks as well as international commercial transactions. His appointment strengthens the Group’s legal and risk posture as it continues to expand its U.S. footprint and support clients operating in highly regulated and strategically sensitive environments like defense, national security, dual use technologies and energy for example.
Mr. Robinson has practiced business law exclusively since 2002, following his call to the Québec Bar, with a focus on corporate law, startups, private equity, corporate financing, and commercial transactions. He brings extensive experience advising on sophisticated financing structures, including prospectus-exemption analysis under Regulation 45-106 of the Securities Act—expertise of particular relevance to U.S. investors, multinational firms, and growth-stage companies pursuing cross-border strategies. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Robinson is a long-standing professor at the University of Ottawa and the Québec Bar School, where he has educated hundreds of legal professionals and future business leaders. His academic background reinforces a disciplined, practical approach to advising senior executives, boards, and institutional stakeholders.
“As we continue to deepen our engagement in the United States and expand globally, Bryan’s legal expertise and cross-border perspective will be a significant asset to our organization and our clients,” said Goran Samuel Pesic, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Samuel Group D.C. “His experience aligns directly with the needs of investors, government stakeholders, and international partners operating in and with the U.S. market.”
The appointment reflects the Samuel Group’s continued investment in senior-level legal and regulatory capability as demand grows for integrated advisory services across defense, national security, technology, trade, energy and public policy.
