Strengthening Arctic Diplomacy: Samuel Group at Greenland Celebration in Washington, D.C.

Samuel Group D.C.

Yesterday, Samuel Group D.C. was honored to be represented at a special celebration of Greenland in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Greenland Representation to the United States and Canada. Our Chief of Staff, Aliénor Peyrefitte, attended on behalf of our Washington office and engaged with senior diplomatic and political leaders advancing Arctic and North Atlantic cooperation. Aliénor is responsible for our Arctic, NATO and European Union affairs in commercial, political, defense and diplomatic engagements.

The event was marked by the presence of the President of the Greenland Parliament, reaffirming Greenland’s growing role on the global stage. Also in attendance was Jacob Isbosethsen, Greenland’s newly appointed representative to the United States and Canada — a key figure in strengthening transatlantic dialogue and regional collaboration.

We were also pleased to meet the incoming U.S. Consul to Nuuk, who will assume her position in three weeks. Her presence reflects the United States’ continued commitment to deepening bilateral engagement with Greenland and the wider Arctic.

At Samuel Group, we recognize the strategic and economic importance of the Arctic. Our participation in events like these reflects our commitment to fostering meaningful relationships that support diplomacy, economic development, and regional security.

As global interest in the Arctic grows, Samuel Group stands ready to contribute to constructive dialogue and partnership-building between governments, Indigenous leaders, and the private sector.
